Let’s bring the pieces together,
as evidence that the Phoenicians crossed the Atlantic 2,000 years before Columbus.
📍 Join us in Montrose for a few days or even a few hours.
Hi, this is Mike and Betty LaFontaine. Please join our family across the Mississippi from the Nauvoo Temple where together we will bring to life the oldest ship replica in the Western Hemisphere.
With your help, we will unveil the magnificence of a historic ship that goes back 2,600 years from the time when Mulek and his people traveled from Jerusalem to the Heartland of America.
We are a small group of volunteers with limited resources working on a large project.
We are looking for like-minded people who embrace historic truth wherever it is found. Come and dedicate a day or two with your families to reconstruct the oldest ship replica in the New World.
The Phoenicia has sailed 30,000 miles on the high seas proving that ancient people had the technologies required to cross the Atlantic thousands of years before Columbus. The pieces of the replica ship now rest in a warehouse on the west bank of the Mississippi.
This summer offers you a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the meaningful rewriting of Ancient American history.
Take a Stand for Truth
Take the time to challenge the accepted history of America before Columbus. With your helping hands, you will participate in restoring 30 tons of handcrafted timbers that faithfully replicate the design of the Jules Verne 7, a 2,600-year-old shipwreck, that in AD 1993 came out of the low oxygen mud of the Port of Marseilles in the Western Mediterranean Sea. Bring your family and friends to Montrose to discover the rich history of the Heartland before the arrival of the Europeans. Each hour with the Phoenicia Ship will make a difference in your life and the lives of your loved ones.
